These terms govern your use of the iPayment iPhone app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
iPayment is a personal record-keeping tool for tracking payments you enter yourself. It is provided free of charge, for personal use.
iPayment displays totals and conversions based entirely on figures you supply. It does not provide financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice, and it is not a banking or payment service — it cannot move, send, or hold money.
About the exchange rate. The USD-to-LBP rate used by the app is the one you enter in Settings. It is not a live market rate and is not supplied or verified by us. Converted amounts are only as accurate as the rate you set, and amounts entered in Lebanese pounds are converted at the rate in effect at the moment you enter them.
Your records are stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own Google Drive. You are responsible for keeping your device and Google account secure, and for maintaining your own backups. Deleting the app, deleting its Drive data, or losing access to your Google account may permanently remove your records. We hold no copy and cannot recover anything for you.
Connecting Google Drive is optional. When you use it, your use of Google’s services is also governed by Google’s own terms. The backup feature depends on Google’s availability and on your continued authorization, and may stop working if you revoke access. How the feature handles your information is described in the privacy policy.
Please do not use the app unlawfully, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, or use it to store content you have no right to store.
iPayment is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations, conversions, or backups will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, records, profits, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the app — including reliance on figures it displays — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you.
The app may change or features may be discontinued at any time. These terms may also be updated; the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You may stop using iPayment at any time by deleting it from your device and, if you connected it, revoking its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
